Setting up Ledger Wallet
Please note: Make sure the Venom app is installed on your Ledger device. Once installed, please close the Ledger Live software before continuing with setting up a Venom wallet with your Ledger.
There are two ways to connect your Ledger to Venom wallet:
- Creating a new Ledger Wallet (by signing in with your Ledger).
- Connecting your Ledger (to an existing Venom wallet).
Let's take a look at both options in the following.
Open the Venom wallet on your device.
In the menu, select the option "Sign in with Ledger."
Unlock your Ledger by entering its PIN code.
In the next step, connect your Ledger device.
The user interface will now ask you to approve the connection to your Ledger. In the next step, you can select which keys to add to your wallet.
Open the Venom wallet on your device and ensure that you are logged into your account.
Access the profile section by clicking on the gear symbol next to it and selecting "Manage seeds." Here, click on "Add new" and select "Connect Ledger."
Unlock your Ledger by entering its PIN code.
The user interface will now ask you to approve the connection to your Ledger. In the next step, you can select which keys to add to your wallet.
