Address
The address of an account is the unique identifier for the contract storage and is also the entry point for incoming messages.
Account addresses in the Venom network consist of two parts, the workchain identifier and the hash of the initial data.
0 – workchain_id. The identifier of the workchain is an unsigned 32-bit integer.
0000...0000 – account_id. 256-bit address (defined by the hash of the contract code and initial data).
Presently, the following workchain IDs are defined for the network:
Workchain ID | Description |
-1 | Identifier of the Masterchain (layer-0 chain that facilitates coordination and communication among workchains, shardchains, and smart contracts). |
0 | Identifier of the Basechain (a layer-1 Workchain designed to host dApps and to be used by developers, builders, and users |
