Venom Scan
Venom has a block explorer (called Venom Scan) which allows you to explore records of the Venom blockchain.
Block explorers are web applications that can be used to explore the transactions, messages, wallets, smart contracts, and blocks of a blockchain.
Venom's block explorer can be found here: Venomscan.
To explore your address in the block explorer, simply copy your address in your wallet and paste it into the search field. Let's take a look at how this works with a random wallet we just found in the explorer.
To take a look at all your transactions, simply click on the "Transactions" tab in the explorer.
In this section, you can see all the transactions of your address. This includes token transfers but also gas payments. For this reason, you may see a large number of transactions.
You can filter the transactions based on timeframe and amount via the three green buttons at the top.
The next tab shows you all token transfers. The table will show you which token was sent or received by you.
To query your present token balance, simply navigate to the "token balance" tab. It shows you a list of all the tokens that you are holding in your wallet.
You can see your $VENOM token balance at the top of the page.
You can also explore all the blocks in the Venom blockchain via Venom Scan. Simply click on "Blocks" and select a block you wish to take a look at. In any given block, you can find the transactions included in it and information about the value flow and messages.
You can also explore transactions, messages, accounts, tokens, NFTs, validators, and contracts by clicking on the respective link in Venom Scan.
Smart contracts and their large data sets can also be explored via Venom Scan. The block explorer provides you information on which address published the contract and at what time it was done so. You can also see the contract code if you want to explore what a given contract does.
You may be able to interact with some of the contracts defined in the block explorer. Please only interact with contracts whose code you are familiar with and understand what it does.
The block explorer is also fantastic for exploring NFT collections.
