VENOM BLOCKCHAIN
Core Features
Interoperability
1min
The architecture of the Venom blockchain consists of three core layers, namely a masterchain with multiple workchains and shardchains. With its asynchronous architecture as “Blockchain of Blockchains,” Venom promotes interoperability between these three layers. This interoperable structure makes it possible for transactions to be processed in so-called “shards” (i.e. smaller blocks) which can simultaneously be verified by validator nodes. Thanks to this architecture, the transactions that are processed per second are higher and it also allows the blockchain to scale based on demand – both critical features for the widespread adoption of distributed ledger technology in finance.
